Next to join the SEA the Judging Panel is none other than Mhlogonolo Manchester Mahapa. Manchester is a multidisciplinary creative producer, writer and storyteller in television, art, fashion and live-to-air productions. As seasoned creative practitioner, she has served as the Creative Director for the prestigious 13th Annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS 13 in 2019). She then joined Clive Morris Productions where her work starts from the concept to the execution of various medium to large productions, live-to-air and scripted short/long form formats. Her production credits include the 22nd Annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs), 2016 She was part of the story team and the Assistant creative Producer on Broken Vows (Telenovela for eTV). Her writing credits include Grassroots 1Magic Drama Series/Mzansi Magic (DSTV), script advisor on Impilo: The Scam (Mzansi Magic DSTV) and dialogue editing and story development on SABC 2 medical drama, Vutha. Currently she is the Creator and Showrunner of ISONO, BET AFRICA’s first original daily drama – A 260 episode telenovela.
